Just like our earthly parents, our heavenly Father also wants to keep us near to him. But if we’re running around for 14 hours a day, seven days a week, doing business, homemaking, hanging out with our friends, on appointments, at the bank, the club, and eating out all the time, we lose our time with God. There is no time to spend with him. If we can barely give him a minute of the day, how are we going to set time apart to contemplate heaven? That’s why we need to ask ourselves: Is it worth to go through life without seeking God first?
